“I’m in charge of our new plaque,
but I’ve never purchased one before.
W
here do I start?"

Right at the end.. Just imagine your finished plaque. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Gorgeous, in fact. The size and proportions are perfect for your mounting space, and your inscription has that balance you were hoping to achieve.

Now that your goal has been defined, let’s go back to the beginning you originally had in mind. Again, though, where do you start?

Unfortunately, your internet searches have turned up too much information and only resulted in confusion instead of answers. The last thing you expected was for this project to eat up hours and hours of your time.

Getting help. Cutting through the clutter.

What if you had a “road map” of sorts that helped you cut through all the clutter and only focus on the details that will help you achieve that beautiful balance great plaques tend to have?

What if it could even bring some details to your attention that you may have otherwise overlooked? Well, our Design Team wrote just such a “road map” to help bring clarity and focus to your project:

8 Steps to a Beautiful Plaque

These steps will briefly explain:

How to determine the right plaque size.
How to keep the overall cost to a minimum.
Tips you haven’t thought of for proofing your inscription.

"Will it save time, and point me in the right direction?"

While it doesn't solve every problem, and it doesn't walk you through each step of the design process, it does give you an excellent starting point. Consider it a head start of sorts, advising you of some important things to consider along the way – things you may have otherwise overlooked. In other words, it is going to save you time and frustration, so it definitely points you in the right direction.

Many other people have been in your shoes, exactly where you are right now. Scroll down to learn what a few of them had to say after their projects were complete:

The plaque is incredible! You know how nervous we were about it -- it's always hard ordering something like this over the web and across the country and with such a strict time limit -- but it came that Thursday night and it's perfect. Much better than we had even dared to hope.

We had the ceremony Friday and our retiring principal was completely surprised (amazing to be able to keep a secret in this tiny town) and blown away. Everyone was impressed and pleased. I suspect you'll be getting more orders from Soquel in the future.

Thanks for your patience with us. It was a beautiful plaque and you guys were fantastic to work with!

I just want to tell you how much I appreciate all of your work on this project. I initially sent out bid requests to three companies. Not only was your company the first to acknowledge the request, but you were the first to come back with color layouts - not just one, but three of them. You were also very quick to respond to my "combination" request and any other question I had.

You made this project so easy to complete, making me feel as if I was dealing with an actual person in a local store, not a company online. I wanted to take the time to put this in a form that you can forward to your supervisors. I would like them to know how we appreciate everything you did for us, and to let them know that you excel in customer service. Your quick responses and courtesy both online and on the phone sold this.

I am a strong believer that customer service is still in vogue, I am so happy that you and your company feel the same way. We look forward to be able to proudly display our plaque! Thank you.

I wanted to take this moment to thank you for the great work your company did on our Police Memorial Plaques. The dedication occurred on Wednesday August 31 and it was several years in the making.

The plaques look wonderful...

Sincerely,

I recently purchased three plaques from Innovative Signs for my sister’s memorial garden and I want to express my sincere appreciation for Lisa Garvin’s assistance [Lisa is one of our designers]. I had basic plaque layouts and text in mind, but she added design touches that made a huge difference.

I’m a detail oriented person with lots of questions, and she very patiently answered all my questions about materials, process and mounting, and researched the answers if she didn’t know them and quickly got back to me. I had tried working with another plaque company in New York and received horrible customer service. Creating the memorial plaques was an emotional experience and I very much appreciated Lisa’s patience and support through the process.

I also was very pleased with the quality of the plaques themselves. My family and I love them. They add so much to the garden.

Sincerely,

Nancy LeVan

Cast Bronze Plaques

Cast bronze plaques are timeless. They date back centuries. This enduring material is combined with today's cutting-edge graphic technologies, resulting in classic cast bronze plaques that make the ultimate first impression. Virtually any graphic, design or corporate logo can be reproduced in a cast bronze plaque, allowing a tremendous freedom of design. The production process is called sand casting, and it not only produces bronze plaques, but also aluminum plaques and brass plaques. Our customers are currently using cast plaques as professional office plaques, corporate identity plaques, memorial markers, building dedication plaques, park dedication plaques, memorial plaques, door plaques, and many other uses.

Engraved Bronze Plaques

Engraved bronze plaques offer the truly captivating option of incorporating contoured 3-dimensional Photo Relief images into your design, portraying complete scenes and telling your story in much greater detail than a text-only inscription could possibly convey. CNC engraving (a computer controlled industrial machining process) is the manufacturing technique used to produce engraved bronze plaques. As with the casting process, the engraving process offers not only bronze plaques, but aluminum plaques and brass plaques as well. While engraved bronze plaques can be used for almost any purpose, they are extremely popular as memorial markers, building dedication plaques, park dedication plaques, and memorial plaques.

Etched Bronze Plaques

Etched Bronze plaques excel in their ability to accommodate a considerable amount of text within a reletavily small amount of space, and also in displaying large areas of satin finished or polished metal. Acid etching is the manufacturing process used to produce etched bronze plaques, as well as aluminum plaques, brass plaques, copper plaques, stainless steel plaques and zinc plaques. Etched bronze plaques are widely used as professional office plaques, corporate identity plaques, building dedication plaques, building directories, door plaques, and historical markers.

DuraBronze™ Plaques

Acrylic is hand-crafted to produce DuraBronze™ plaques that appear to be either bronze or aluminum, depending on the finish you choose. Advantages include a substantially lower price and an even more substantial reduction in weight. DuraBronze™ plaques are extremely popular as professional office plaques, corporate identity plaques, building dedication plaques, door plaques, and directional signage.
